Photos: Neon Trees | Webster Hall

" We can't verify this, but we suspect Utah pop quartet Neon Trees devoured John Hughes movies growing up in the 1980s. Their music, a spry, cheerful strain of pop that girls want to dance to, seems destined to soundtrack numerous proms, while the group's lyrics are tailor-made for the back of the high school yearbook. It's hard to resist the uptempo theme of 2010's Habits, an album that saw the group appropriately open for The Killers. While not as arena-ready as that band—yet—somebody get Neon Trees on a teen soundtrack post-haste. "
