Neon Trees Light Up Mardi Gras! Galveston

" Mardi Gras! Galveston has come a long way, musically, from cover bands and tribute acts.

This year’s incarnation includes Texas country, slick alt-pop and buzzy headliner Neon Trees. (And parades. So many parades.)

Neon Trees first lit up in 2006 in Provo, Utah. The band’s major-label debut, Habits, was issued last year and spawned the hit Animal. The band’s New Wave-inspired sound has earned steady love, a slot at last year’s Lollapalooza and recent European success.
