My Chemical Romance and Neon Trees Ignite the Fillmore

" Playing songs from their debut album Habits the performance was highlighted of course by singles 1983 early in the set and Animal towards the end. They performed like a headlining band and packed their time spent on stage with a live show that was entertaining and as colorful as their name implies. "

My Chemical Romance Pours It On

" It was a night for frontmen to shine, as Provo rock band Neon Trees opened, with mohawked lead singer Tyler Glenn showing the charismatic stage presence of an experienced rocker, swinging the mic like Roger Daltrey and openly emoting on his knees. Unfortunately, as Glenn explained from the stage, the band was late getting to the show because they had just flown in. As a result, they were limited to a five-song, 20-minute set. The quartet played Sins of My Youth1983, In the Next Room, Your Surrender and closed with their 2010 radio hit Animal.

But both Gerard Way and Glenn illustrated that when you have good hair and unbridled energy, who needs pyrotechnics? "

My Chemical Romance Announces Supporting Acts For 2011 North American Tour

" My Chemical Romance may have announced their 2011 North American "The World Contamination Tour" dates months ago, but the band kept tight lipped about the opening acts until tonight (January 10, 2011). It has been officially confirmed that My Chemical Romance's opening bands for their 2011 spring tour consist of rotating The Architects, Neon Trees, Thursday, and Circa Survive. The Chicago date on April 15, 2011 at the Aragon Ballroom will have opening acts, The Architects and Neon Trees. "
