My Chemical Romance Pours It On

" It was a night for frontmen to shine, as Provo rock band Neon Trees opened, with mohawked lead singer Tyler Glenn showing the charismatic stage presence of an experienced rocker, swinging the mic like Roger Daltrey and openly emoting on his knees. Unfortunately, as Glenn explained from the stage, the band was late getting to the show because they had just flown in. As a result, they were limited to a five-song, 20-minute set. The quartet played Sins of My Youth, 1983, In the Next Room, Your Surrender and closed with their 2010 radio hit Animal.

But both Gerard Way and Glenn illustrated that when you have good hair and unbridled energy, who needs pyrotechnics? "

A serenade for voters from Neon Trees

"Neon Trees rocked the vote away at SLCC's Redwood Campus for all those who showed up to vote on Election day. 
Animal, the Neon Trees's hit single, livened the stage of the Life and Activities Center (L.A.C.). Through the efforts of the Student Life and Leadership, the "Rock the Vote" concert was a huge success."

Neon Trees light up stage at S.L. concert

"Provo alt-rock quartet Neon Trees has steadily built a reputation as an exhilarating live act, and the band delivered Tuesday at Salt Lake Community College.

Supporting the Rock the Vote campaign, which encourages political activity among young adults, Neon Trees gave a flashy, energetic performance showcasing the high-octane style that has the group in steady rotation on radio stations across the country."
