Backstage At Bonnaroo: Neon Trees Talk Pete Wentz, New Album

Neon Trees have been a breakout pop success in the past year, even dating back to when Blink-182 bassist Mark Hoppus wrote about them in his SPIN.com column. Now, they’ve got two new notable projects on the horizon.

Frontman Tyler Glenn worked on a song for Black Cards, the new band featuring Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz. “It’s cool, I’ve heard it, and I don’t know when it’s being released,” he said of the collabo. “I love their jazzy pop thing, and I’m glad he’s working on new music.”

Pete Wentz to Release Black Cards' Debut Album in Late Summer or Early Fall

[...] Pete Wentz remains hard at work. He told SPIN that the debut album from his new band, Black Cards, will be out in late summer or early fall, and it will feature guest appearances by Neon Trees singer Tyler Glenn and dance hall rapper Shaggy.

Neon Trees puts Overseas Stardom on their "Wish List"

" World conquest is on Neon Trees' mind these days. 
The Utah quartet has been riding high on the success of Animal, the Alternative Songs chart-topping single from its debut album Habits, and it recently returned from its first trip to the U.K. to play a round of shows in the U.S. through mid-December. Bassist Branden Campbell tells Billboard.com the group plans to spend more time across the pond in the new year. "
